A new boutique luxury bathhouse is about to open in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast. Set on 40 acres of ex-sugar cane farm, Tank Bathhouse is a unique wellness experience with a twist. Central to the TANK concept are 3 concrete cattle troughs, each custom fitted and lined in Italian mosaic tiles, as hydrotherapy spas including a hot pool, magnesium and ginseng pool. There is also a Far Infrared Sauna, a wet steam room and several other supporting services on offer including aromatherapy, deep tissue massage, a sound therapy table, botanical heat wraps and organic face-masks.
The owners have designed TANK to be an immersive experience giving clients an all-inclusive full day, relaxation and rejuvenation package that is both incredible value and a fantastic escape. There are plans to plant a botanical food forrest on the property which will supply the bathhouse with fresh produce for it's organic high tea, botanicals for its array of therapeutic services and also other ingredients for the planned TANK bath and body products.
Bathhouses are becoming very popular in Australia with boutique establishments popping up on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. TANK will be the first modern bathhouse on the Sunshine Coast and the owners hope that others will follow.
Unlike others entering the bathhouse market, TANK Bathhouse is highly exclusive servicing only a handful of customers per day.
"We wanted TANK to be something special where guests could book out the entire place for important events like birthdays, hens parties or reunions. To allow this we are currently under construction on our next location." said TANK's spa manager.
