Conference Afterparty and Break Outs
Updated: Aug 1, 2024
Planning a conference or corporate event on the Sunshine Coast? What better way to do some team building or wind down after a hectic conference schedule than with a day at the Sunshine Coast’s only day club and bathhouse. Show your staff and clients you’ve got your finger on the pulse of the best the Coast has to offer, and avoid trotting out the same old “dinner and drinks” routine. Our luxury bathhouse and entertainment venue gives you the opportunity to spend time with your guests in a relaxed, stylish setting while offering a unique experience that’s guaranteed to leave them impressed.
Take a break from back-to-back plenary’s, panels, keynotes and workshops - feeling like a sardine, crammed into grey rooms with bad lighting and uncomfortable chairs - and relocate to the light, bright, breezy surrounds of Riviera. Wash away the day with a float in our six botanically infused magnesium pools. Feel the stress melt away in our traditional sauna and steam rooms or simply enjoy a leisurely lunch and drinks package with your colleagues. A brilliant way to reset mid-conference, or the ideal post-event debrief venue, our Champagne Bar is intimate and relaxed; perfect for small team meetings or upper management get togethers, and our degustation menu in the Riviera Restaurant makes ordering for a cross-section of fussy staff a breeze.
A cruise on our beautifully refurbed vessel - The Cavalier - with canapés and free-flowing champagne, might serve as a brilliant way to celebrate your top performers for the year, or a fun “getting to know you” team building activity. Why not offer a couple of the Sunshine Coasts Best Massage Treatments as a lucky door prize, or gift for those employees consistently hitting their KPI’s?
With a variety of packages to choose from, and a venue purpose-built for functions of all shapes and sizes, we’re sure you’ll find the perfect solution to your boring conference blues.
Give our friendly events team a call to discuss making your next Conference Afterparty the one that everyone talks about around the water-cooler for years to come.
Sometimes a conversation calls for a big cheer; sometimes a small smile feels more natural. I’m the person behind Kaomoji Cove, where the happy kaomoji collection makes it easier to compare those levels of enthusiasm and copy one as text. I find mood-based browsing more useful than scrolling through a single undifferentiated list.
I like articles that offer realistic advice and encourage careful troubleshooting. Before accessing a router through 192 .168.1.1, users should confirm the correct gateway and connect to the relevant network. This simple preparation can save time and help them manage their settings more confidently.
Great breakdown of the afterparty and break-out sessions! Keeping the smaller groups flexible really does make networking feel less forced. We have been using free Summer Rider mini game as a quick icebreaker during our own team debriefs before the formal wrap-up, and it works surprisingly well. Thanks for sharing these tips!
I liked reading this and found the overall content very helpful. I played Slope Game and enjoyed how every run feels different. The track changes from one attempt to another, so players cannot always expect the same path. Quick reactions and steady movement help when the speed rises.
Great breakdown of the afterparty planning! We usually set up a few quick games to break the ice between sessions — our team loves to play orbit kick when we need a fast, high-energy break.
